Exploring is what LifeViewers do and one of the best methods of exploration is going to places you haven’t been before. We figured that going on day trips around the country is a great start before heading off to see the world. It’s also a good way to test if you truly enjoy traveling as much as you think you do.
Our world becomes rather small if we limit it only to the places we go throughout the working week. So explore to broaden your world.
Norwich – the most medieval city in the UK
One of these days we wondered: what does a modern medieval city look like? Then, we did a little digging and found out that the city of Norwich (located in East Anglia) is actually the most medieval town in the whole of United Kingdom. Naturally, we had to go and see it for ourselves.
We saw the Cathedral of St John the Baptist, the castle, Norwich markets and a multitude of churches and also, had the recommended fish and chips.
Did Norwich meet our expectations?
Many cities we have seen so far had many familiar traits, especially the shops on the high street, but Norwich definitely stood apart from the others. In addition to everything we saw, the city had a stone wall running throughout. So, should you or should you not go to Norwich for a day trip? Watch our video to find out!
