Kicking off 2017 with a bang
It’s a brand new year – full of new opportunities and adventures that await. This year, we are on a quest to fulfill as many wishes as we can. We love movies and had wanted to spend a whole day in the cinema for a while now, so we went for it when we were on our winter holiday. Our cinema experience was a whole day event – almost like a working day.
It took us more than eight hours. We saw three movies in one day with little breaks in between and it was quite the experience!
Ever wanted to spend the whole day at the movies?
If you love movies and have watched more than two in a row from the comfort of your home, you might wonder how it feels to “go big” and spend a whole day at the cinema (at least we did). So, to end our holiday on a positive note, we thought to do just that.
The cinema we picked is Forum Cinemas, also known as Kino Citadele, located in the center of Riga. It sports 14 screens out of which two have balconies – this gave us lots of choice in for movies and screening times.
Movie screenings don’t necessarily match your needs when you want to see one movie after another.
It took quite a long time to pick our three movies, making sure we wouldn’t be late to our screenings and would still have a bit of time to grab a bite and relax.
